On Jordan's Stormy Banks I Stand
There are two versions of this hymn.
This version (above) has an alternate chorus, written by Tullius O'Kane.
The original lyric, by Samuel Stennett, is usually set to a different tune and has the chorus "I am bound for the Promised Land..."
This video is from Southwest Baptist Church, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, whose accompanist believes she (or he) is the star of the show. Bless her heart. (No, seriously, I love to hear a good ol' Baptist piano player. But sometimes it can be a bit much.)
